She sits on the NCEA Pacific Peoples Review Panel for the Ministry of Education, the Pacific Advisory Group for Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland War Memorial Museum and is on the Executive Committee for Aotearoa NZ Association of Art Educators (ANZAAE) and Aotearoa Tongan Teachers Association (ATTA). Her Masters research focused on examining art teachers’ beliefs, attitudes and pedagogical practices and how these could affirm Pasifika students’ success as Pasifika.ĭagmar is the Chair of the Pacific Education Steerage Group for the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand. Dagmar is the Programme Manager - Pasifika at Tui Tuia | Learning Circle at the University of Auckland where she oversees the nation-wide Tapasā PLD delivery and other Pacific Education initiatives. She taught for 10 years at Sylvia Park School and as Deputy Principal she led Curriculum design whilst championing their Arts programme and whole school Inquiry learning. Pat was on the New Zealand Principals Federation Executive for 13 years, serving two years as National President representing NZ Principals nationally and internationally. A current member of the NZTC, having served eight years previously, including chairing the Risk and Audit Committee, and making a significant contribution to the Council's Complaints Assessment Committee, standing strongly against poor practice and supporting the just treatment of teachers. He is a Board Member of the Miriam Centre that provides whānau counselling for Te Tai Tokerau and has been President of Te Tai Tokerau Principals Association since 2007. He has led a growing school, initiating a building programme centred around learning pedagogies. He has been involved with the Māori Achievement Collaborative (MAC) from inception in 2014, which is now utilised by hundreds of schools across Aotearoa. Pat has led initiatives to help principals and their staff rethink their curriculum, policies and practices to make a difference for Māori tamariki through kaupapa Māori. She is an active member of the International Women’s Forum, and her work has been honored with numerous awards, including the 2018 Girl Scouts Women of Distinction Award for “courageous leadership.Patrick (Pat) Newman MNZM - Primary Principal's Representative Rose is also an committed member of her community, serving on multiple boards and commissions, currently including the National Association of System Heads (NASH) and the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED). Rose earned her BA in Politics (Phi Beta Kappa) from UC Santa Cruz. Melody Assistant Short overview Melody Assistant is dedicated to music writing, printing and rendering. Today her scholarship focuses on higher education governance she has a book forthcoming this fall with coauthor Larry Large on Board governance and higher education business models, drawing from her experience at Marylhurst University and as a consultant on strategic partnerships, mergers & acquisitions, and closures. Throughout her years on the faculty, she focused her teaching and research on issues related to American women and politics, campaigns and elections, and social policy, earning awards for several books, including Hillary Clinton’s Race for the White House, which she published with coauthor Regina Lawrence. Rose’s academic scholarship focuses on American government and good governance. Celemony Melodyne 4.
